The House of Commons International Trade committee has undertaken a study of “The 2023 Strike at the Port of Vancouver: Selected Impacts, Responses and Port-related Innovation.” Early witnesses include Transport Canada officials, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, Canpotex Ltd., and the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. GCCA will be reviewing the report from this study, which will likely be available in the first quarter of 2024.
